Lets see if I'm any better this time...

I love it when I'm playing around with the camera function on my phone and get a funky unique image. This was actually taken in class. I love how the details fade into the darkness. Makes me try to decifer what is in the shadows.















I like the movement in front of a still, focused background. I don't remember if she was trying to get out of the image or into it.















I like the shadow and the reflections of light on the wall. My attempt at using the available light in a darker room. Turned out well in my humble opinion.

Love the colors, love the drips. Simple, basic, beautiful. Nice use of negative space to give the image a little steelyard composition.

I like how there is something close to the lens and then the action of the figure falling in the middle ground. The vignette effect and the black border really direct the gaze to the action in the frame. Amazing.

Dark and depressing. Yet surreal and beautiful. I love the green tint to the image and the backlighting. No people, yet there is a sense of those that used to be there.

Holy crap I'm so confused

Okay, Whatever. I wanted my images at the end, but haven't figured this out yet. Hence, the title.
Eh.










Anyways, I'm trying to embrace digital photography. I had an epiphany the other day. I take images with my little digital and with my phone and for some reason don't consider them to be "worthy" and won't group them with the images I take when working on my fine art photos for school. I realized that that is stupid. I have some wicked sweet images that I just happened to find when I was just walking around.
Or just messing around in class.



















Reminds me of that Beatles album cover. Only the wrong angle to the crosswalk.

I love Black and White. You can really get dramatic feelings from these types of images. I love this image. Something about the desolate feeling in an empty diner, with the only people in the image appearing on the television.

Again, Black and White. What an amazing portrait of Marilyn. I'm going to make beautiful portraits like this someday. And everyone who is anyone will say, "I'm going to have my portrait done by Erin." I know, wishful thinking.

I love the composition of this image. And the subject matter is appealing too. I can identify with this kid digging through the papers for the funnies while having a treat, perhaps waiting for his mother to finish her shopping inside.
